What is Custom Restock Notifications?
Custom Restock Notifications is a sub-feature of Restocks, available exclusively to Pro users of the Sole Retriever app.
This new feature allows users to configure personalized keyword and size filter preferences for their Restock notifications.
Not a big fan of Jordan 1 Mids? Just add the term "Mid" as a muted keyword to filter out any restocks for Mids.
Only want to see restocks in your size? Simply configure your size preferences to only be alerted about restocks in your size(s).
How do I use it?
Head to the restock feed screen and tap the gear icon on the top right. The top section labeled Filters is where you'll configure your desired custom restock notification settings.
đ Note: Any keyword, size preference, or retailer you configure will apply across all restock channels and categories.
Muted Keywords:
When you add muted keywords, you won't get restocks for any products matching those keywords.
Examples
Muting the keyword Jordan would mute all restocks containing that exact word, such as products having or containing the name Jordan 1 Low, Air Jordan 1 High, Jordan 2, and so on.
Muting the keyword Air would mute all restocks containing that exact word, such as products having or containing the name Air Max, Air Jordan, and so on.
Muting the keyword Yeezy would mute all restocks containing that exact word, such as products having or containing the name Yeezy Boost, Yeezy 350, and so on.
Note: A product with a title containing YZY would not be muted by the muted keyword Yeezy, and vice versa. A product with a title containing AJ would not be muted by the muted keyword Jordan. Muted keyword matching must be exact.
BE CAREFUL:
If you mute the a string of letters that are contained within a word, that restock will be muted.
Example: Muting the keyword "un" would result in Dunks being muted because "un" is contained within the word "dunk"
Don't Forget: You can add and/or remove muted keywords at any time.
Mute Retailers:
When you mute a retailer, you will no longer get notifications from that website.
Retailers can be muted two different ways
Click the + sign in the right hand corner and enter the domain for the retailer
Find the store from the list of retailers in the "Suggested stores" section and hit the + sign next to the retailer you would like to mute
The retailers you have muted can always be viewed or edited in the "Mute Retailers" section of the app.
Examples
If you were to mute Navy Exchange, you will no longer receive any restocks from Navy Exchange.
Sizes:
When you configure size preferences, you will only get restocks for products containing at least one of your selected sizes.
Examples:
If you select mens sizes 10, 10.5, and 11, you will only be notified about any restocks that contain at least one of those sizes.
If you only select mens size 10, you will only be notified about any restocks that contain that specific size.
If you select mens size 10 and clothing size Large, you will be notified about any restocks that contain a mens size 10 or a clothing size Large.
If you only select size Large clothing (and no shoe sizes), you will only be notified about any restocks with a size Large (you will not receive any shoe restocks if you only select a clothing size preference).
đ Note: If a restocked product only has one size (like a KAWS figurine), such products will not be muted by your size preferences - you will get the restock.
Apply filters to feed
Configuring your size and keyword preferences will control which restocks you receive notifications for. If you also wish for those filters to be reflected on your restock feed screen, you may toggle on the option to apply filters to feed.
